Description
Sometimes a photographic image just invites you to play a little with digital art effects, and occasionally the results just grab you. This image originated as a simple photograph of a fiesty hyper-alert male ruby-throated hummingbird perched one of the rope threads on the hammock on our deck. For most of August (2021) he sat in that same spot where he could see and defend all of the feeders in our back yard. The image you see before you was the result of some try-this, try-that editing that truthfully I probably couldn't repeat if my life depended on it. Nonetheless, I really liked the outcome of that exercise and decided to include it in my portfolio. Hope you enjoy it as well!
