Description
Nearly every Spring when we still lived in Maryland, we were treated to the sight of new colts and fillies on the grounds of the Dibbens Farm on Mountain Road in Pasadena. This image, retrieved from my photo archives, dates back more than ten years. This sturdy and very proud little thoroughbred stallion was about three weeks old when this image was captured and already he was behaving as though he owned the entire farm. As a technical note, after a bit of manipulation I discovered that this early summer image has far more visual impact by tilting the horizon a bit. Funny how the eye reacts to subtleties such as that. ;)
