Description
Our hummingbirds are back, and are ferociously attacking our feeders. This fluffy female was captured as she rapidly came in for a landing to feed on some sugar water after a hard night doing whatever hummingbirds do at night. Most of our birds are slim and graceful, but not this little lady. At rest she resembles a feathery golf ball with a beak. This image is one of a series captured from indoors, through a closed window with a screen. Quite surprisingly, a quick rinse through a de-noise function eliminated any visual artifacts created by the screen and rendered an acceptably sharp and colorful image.
