Description
This eye-catching leaf stood out with the sunlight making its way through the leafy canopy overhead to seemingly spotlight this lone leaf. Battered and turning brown in spots before falling, it's rich golden color made it a compelling sight in an otherwise shadowy scene. This was one of many such sights we observed while on a November photo walk through Front Royal Virginia's Rockland Park.
